HOLOCAUST REMEMBRANCE DAY 2017

Stellerranti's Concert

On the occasion of Holocaust Remembrance Day, celebrated every January 27 in commemoration of the Holocaust victims, Mile School, organized for grades 4,5,6,7 and 8 a concert by the  Stellerranti Band directly from the Shtetl to the Broadway stage, performed by musicians Lydia Cevidalli (violin) and Pier Welsh (accordion).

The concert through the music represented the journey inside the Jewish identity and traditions and the languages that over the centuries have accompanied Jewish people’s life.

After the concert followed the presentations of the MILE Schoolclasses, which had as main theme Talmud’s words: “Who saves one life, saves the whole world“.

Each class will expose the lives of men and women who were saved from holocaust and ‘the Right’ who have chosen to save lives risking their own, teaching us that solidarity is the most precious value of the mankind.
