MILE Christmas Market

Solidarity helps to grow up

This year, for the first time, Mile School took the initiative of starting an activity through the “Christmas market” for fund raising. The students from 5th, 6th,7th and 8th grade got involved creatively by making greeting cards, Christmas decorations, cupcakes and other products with which was set up a cheerful Christmas market in via Olgiati 14. In turn, students have volunteered as sale-assistants for families and the profit will be donated to charity.

This is a wonderful solidarity project which adds an enriching educational value to Mile School. The students, through activities of team working, will identify the best organization for their donation by collecting information and developing arguments in support of their preference.

The result will be shared with the families during the assembly planned for late January. We thank the teachers whose initiatives enrich daily the growth of Mile students towards solidarity, awareness and autonomy.
