LAB  METODO BRUNO MUNARI®

Goal:  Munari proposes to teach children how to look at a work rather than just reading the content or message. Visual art should not be told in words, it must be experienced: words are forgotten, experience no. If I listen to it I forget, if I remember, if I understand it, it would repeat the artist, citing an ancient Chinese proverb.

In the “play to visual art” laboratory, you experiment with techniques and rules derived from the works of art of every age and every place, transformed into games, by discovering the different qualities of the materials and the features of the instruments. Children learn by playing.

In Munari laboratories, therefore, we intend to promote the knowledge and understanding of the techniques of expression and artistic communication, so that they can be more aware and critical.

The lab is, therefore, a place of creativity and knowledge, experimentation, discovery and self-learning through the game: it is the privileged place of doing to understand where “mental gymnastics” is made and know-how is built. It is also a meeting place for education, training, and collaboration. Space where you develop the ability to observe with your eyes and hands to learn to look at reality

With all the senses and knowing more, where to stimulate creativity and “creative design thinking” from childhood.
