A tradition for MILE School

Speaking in front of an audience is never easy, but our MILE School Middle students demonstrated to be more than capable to do this. Recently all of them engaged in such task with excellent results.  Informative speeches were presented by the Sixth Graders, while the Seventh Graders used persuasion to introduce topics such as Bitcoin, women’s rights, education and globalism. On the other hand, the Eighth Graders debated issues just as relevant:  exporting democracy to non-democratic countries; women athletes’ right to get paid the same as their male counterparts; immigration as a positive factor for the Italian economy; and the real causes of global warming. As you can see, all of these topics are highly controversial and thought-provoking.

Awards were given to the most impressive speeches and the evaluation of their work was done by some of our ex Middle School students.
