Discovery Day - 22 November 2025
At MILE, every student follows a path of excellence, growing into a mindful, curious and empathetic individual ready to meet the challenges of the modern world.
Our bilingual curriculum, recognised by MIUR and certified by Cambridge International, supports students in becoming true global citizens. Along the way they develop future-ready skills, digital literacy, interpersonal competence and mastery of both Italian and English, opening the door to leading upper secondary schools and universities in Italy and abroad.
Their journey is further enriched by a wide range of extracurricular activities, international experiences and leadership opportunities that foster personal growth and prepare them to achieve exceptional results.
The MILE Nursery, originally called Les Galipettes, welcomes its first local families, soon partnering with Nestlé as a corporate nursery and earning recognition from the City of Milan as a Model of Excellence.
The school broadens its offerings with the new Primary School, featuring an innovative bilingual curriculum, and soon earns accreditation from the Italian Ministry of Education for its Italian programme.
With the Lower Secondary School opening, MILE ensures students continue their education in a stimulating environment grounded in the school’s core values.
Due to rising enrolments, MILE is moving to a new campus with specialised classrooms, labs, sports fields and play areas for younger children.
MILE obtains Cambridge certifications for Primary, Lower Secondary and Assessment International programmes and is accredited as a Professional Development Centre. The Lower Secondary School is also recognised as a State-recognised school by the Italian Ministry of Education (MIUR) for the Italian curriculum.
MILE joins the International School Partnership – ISP, opening up new opportunities for global exchange, growth and collaboration for students, teachers and families.
From Nursery to Lower Secondary, MILE is officially recognised as a Cambridge International School, underscoring its commitment to excellence in international education.
Students at MILE Bilingual School consistently achieve grades above the average in the Invalsi tests and in the Cambridge Primary Checkpoints and Cambridge Lower Secondary Checkpoints.

Top reasons our families choose to belong here.
Students excel through a bilingual curriculum recognised by the MIUR for the Italian component and certified by Cambridge International, laying the foundations for upper secondary schools and universities in Italy and abroad.
Students thrive in a safe and inspiring environment where parents are actively engaged in school life and every voice matters. Community events like Multicultural Night unite everyone together to share ideas and celebrate connections.
Our experienced English and Italian teachers nurture each student’s growth with personalised guidance and challenges for those who consistently exceed expectations, all within our School Enrichment Model.
Students progress through flipped classrooms with active group discussions, apply the Bruno Munari method to foster creativity and innovation, and engage in hands-on experiments in specialised learning spaces.
Students develop key life skills including self-esteem, multilingualism, problem-solving, lateral thinking, global citizenship and digital literacy through hands-on lessons, leadership opportunities, international experiences and collaborative projects.
Students discover their talents and nurture their interests through a rich programme of extracurricular activities, including a wide range of sports, artistic disciplines and language clubs.
Students take part in international initiatives and cultural exchanges with peers from around the world through the International Learning Opportunities for Students (ILOS) programme, offered in collaboration with the International Schools Partnership.
Students nurture their talents in spaces for growth and well-being, with science, art and drama labs, sports fields, play areas, and a garden with a vegetable patch to connect with nature.
Inclusivity
Students embrace diversity and celebrate the uniqueness of each individual. They learn to listen, understand and respect others, developing empathy and preparing to become open-minded and responsible global citizens.
Curiosity
Students explore new ideas, ask thought-provoking questions and follow their natural desire to discover. They nurture critical and creative thinking, becoming active architects of their own learning.
Academic excellence
Students embark on a stimulating and challenging learning journey, striving to reach their full potential. They build strong skills and develop the determination needed to succeed in life and in their future careers.
MILE is special for the care we aim to give to children, students and families, recognising everyone as the unique individuals they are and valuing their talents.
